my boyfriend had breakfast with me this morning and i had half a new york bakery cinnamon and raisin bagel. i enjoyed it and i don't even feel guilty (a little about the maple syrup i put on it, but its yummy and low fat!). The bagels are low fat themselves and low cal, and I'm making dinner later, not mum, so it's okay.
i also sprinkled extra cinnamon on it, so i doubt i'll even want anything else all day :)
not only does cinammon taste soooo yummy, it's actually really good for you (even considered a superfood). Its full of calcium believe it or not, as well as iron and fiber. It's also really good for dieting because it lowers your blood sugar levels (and i think may raise your metabolism) which makes you want to snack less (like cakes made of fructose sugar)
it's really good on fruit, porridge, coffee, and my personal fave: with hot apple juice. This is so good because it warms you, making you feel good (hot water fills you up more than cold too!), it will definitely satisfy a craving, and it will prevent more! and it is nommy :)
(finding this to upload presented me with a load of pictures of sticky pastry cinnamon buns, which would usually get me craving, but noooo :) also, i've given up pastry and since the giving up chocolate thing i've found that i don't really want the foods that are on my mental "given up" list. yaay! )
